This season I am drawn to classic understated fall themed items that blend with everyday items. Like this clear glass pumpkin I found at IKEA. It was only $13 and I can reuse it every Fall and Winter season.

Use what you love. Adding framed notecards, small art pieces, or photo boxes to your coffee table is an easy, inexpensive way to tell the story of your home. It's a simple touch that brings back nostalgic moments and beautifully displays your family’s history.

Incorporate what you love and already own to bring your space to life. Collected or curated clothing, travel keepsakes, and inherited family treasures do so much more than fill a space—they introduce incredible texture, highlight your cultural identity, and turn your favorite memories into everyday decor.

Don’t hide your favorite beaded pieces or necklaces in a drawer. Layering them over decor is an effortless way to add texture to any space.

Don't be afraid to think outside the box and experiment with a small corner of your home solely dedicated to styling. Tying a mini Fulani hat to a chair and adding a bold accent pillow turned a simple nook into a source of daily inspiration. Give yourself permission to play with your decor!

Simply turn an art book to a favorite page and hold it open using an accent piece or a collected keepsake. It instantly elevates your coffee table, adds striking visual detail, and lets you display beautiful artwork without spending a dime.

Draping small accent rugs over carpet or an existing area rug adds instant warmth without the expense of buying a large new rug. Placing a few small rugs strategically around the room gives you a fresh, cozy look that’s budget-friendly and easy to swap out as the seasons change.

I am a fan of real stems, but realistic oversized ones are well worth the investment!
A few large, lifelike stems add incredible drama and dimension to any vase. It’s a timeless, high-end look that brings life to your space with zero maintenance.
Seasonally or just year round, a single ornament or tassel is so chic, collected and colorful. I used a coaster/ornament I made last season and repurposed it as an accent on my flaux florals.
One of my favorite fall decor hacks is using seasonal produce.

I found these gorgeous midnight pumpkins at the grocery store and styled them on a favorite platter. They bring the beauty of nature inside, last all the way through winter, and add an instant seasonal touch to any tabletop.

Creating a seasonal wellness sanctuary begins with intentional layering.
I kept my fresh summer white bedding to maintain that clean, peaceful foundation, then layered on warmth for the season: cozy tassels, touchable textured pillows, and low, ambient lighting. It’s an effortless way to transform your bedroom into a restful retreat.
If you have kiddos you probably have toys everywhere. Incorporate some of those items in your space, especially books and keepsakes. It can make your home feel more “loved” in and comforting for the little people.
Saving the best tip for last!
When budget was tight, I decided to make my own elevated décor—crafting candles, room sprays, and soaps in thrifted vintage jars. What started as an affordable way to beautify my space turned into a full business, and now I sell my own custom home line online! Never underestimate the power of DIY and a good thrift find.
